【프로젝트 소개】
Swarm started out as an official part of the Ethernet project, which was mainly led and developed by the Ethernet Foundation, allowing mining pools storage, bandwidth and arithmetic resources to support Ethernet network-based applications. It was considered to be defined as one of the three pillars of Web 3.0 components along with Ether and Whisper.
The Swarm team seeks to offer a peer-to-peer storage and serving solution that is DDoS-resistant, has zero-downtime, fault-tolerant and censorship-resistant as well as self-sustaining due to a built-in incentive system which uses peer-to-peer accounting and allows trading resources for payment.
Currently, XT.COM has entered into a strategic partnership with Swarm’s official investors, which provides a strong guarantee for later cooperation between Swarm and XT.COM’s ecosystem. Swarm’s investors include Alphemy Capital, Bitscale Capital, Waterdrip Capital, DFG, KR1, Hashkey, etc.
