Dear XTers,
To further improve the utilization efficiency of Trial Funds, XT has adjusted the deduction rules for Futures Trial Funds starting from 03:00 (UTC) on June 3, 2026. The details are as follows:
When Trial Funds are used to offset closing/liquidation losses:
- If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for deduction.
- If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, the loss will be deducted according to the corresponding deduction ratio; that is, the deduction applies only to the remaining loss amount after offsetting the profits.
- When funding fee expenses are incurred, the Trial Fund can still be deducted according to the corresponding ratio.
Illustrative Examples:
Case 1:
- Trial Fund Claim Time: User A claimed and redeemed 50 USDT of Trial Funds on June 10, 2026, with a deduction ratio of 20%.
-
User Trading PnL:- June 11: User A executed the first futures trade, making a profit of 100 USDT.- June 12: User A executed the second futures trade, incurring a loss of 110 USDT.
- Deduction Explanation: Since the first trade profited 100 USDT and the second trade lost 110 USDT, the realized PnL after claiming the Trial Fund is: 100 − 110 = − 10 USDT. The user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, so the loss will be deducted according to the corresponding deduction ratio. With a Trial Fund deduction ratio of 20%, the deducted amount is: 10 × 20%= 2 USDT (i.e., 2 USDT of the loss portion will be offset using the Trial Fund).
Case 2:
- Trial Fund Claim Time: User B claimed and redeemed 50 USDT of Trial Funds on June 10, 2026, with a deduction ratio of 20%.
-
User Trading PnL:- June 11: User B executed the first futures trade, making a profit of 100 USDT.- June 12: User B executed the second futures trade, incurring a loss of 80 USDT.
- Deduction Explanation: The first trade profited 100 USDT and the second trade lost 80 USDT, making the realized PnL after claiming the Trial Fund: 100−80=20 USDT. Since the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for deduction.
Notes:
- If multiple Trial Funds are claimed, the cumulative PnL will be calculated starting from the claim time of the most recent one.
- Realized PnL = Closing PnL + Funding Fees.
Please pay close attention to the impact of these rule adjustments. Thank you for your continued support and understanding!
